    Suppose the same could be said for an alarm funtion of "remote start".

    Turbo timers and savers

    A lot of heavy trucks in the US ( and a few here) use a gadget called a turbo-saver, one brand name that comes to mind is "Nical". These are a hydraulic accumulator tee'd into the turbo oil delivery line with a checkvalve in the pump side of the supply line. When you shut down the engine the accumulator has a reservoir of engine oil under pressure which continues to lubricate the bearings of the stillspinning turbo until the reservoir is emptied. When you start up again the reservoir is refilled. Better than a timer. Should not be hard for a fitter & turner or diesel fitter to make.

    Anyway the instructions are great, it looks easy, but i pulled my dash apart, (such a big mechano set, i love it), and on the back of the egnition drum, mechanisum there are four wires coming off it. They are;

    Green cap.-Orange and white wire. Clear cap.-White wire.

    Red cap.-Red and white wire. Black cap.- Brown and white wire.

    Could some one please help me to identify which wire is for what...
    Off, Accessories, On, or Start...
    Am I missing something out here, or not seeing something that is written, somewhere????

    Cheers Geck
    My advice.... Return it...

    Biggards are rubbish... Why would a TD5 which only requires 10 second run time for shut down need a 1-3-5 minute turbo timer

    If you still want one go to Pirahna, get one of their digital versions.

    10 second intervals, adjustable, and a far neater more compact package.

    Also should be a damn site cheaper.

    My 2 cents
