Thread: Problems with chipped TD5 killing me!!!! PLEASE HELP

Got a little bit more info guys. Took the truck to Graeme Coopers and the EGR is rooted which may be causing some of the issues. Ward tells me that the EGR can cause some really wierd symptoms and these seem to be different from vehicle to vehicle.

As a matter of precaution and because I found a light misting of oil at the red ECU plug I have ordered a new engine wiring harness.

Get this boys - LR Australia charge $1600.00 for one of these. I have located same part in UK for $155.00 pound which is about $370.00.

How can they change so much bloody money for the same part???

I do agree to some extent GreyLandy but on the couple of occasions that the car has been 'on song' it has driven just beautifully. If this latest effort fails I might have to give up...
