The tyres are Maxxis 980. I'm quite happy with getting a new tyre at a third the price as I said and think the retailer had a bit to do with that as well. Greenes Wanneroo.
I'll go to Tuffant or other compatible 18" rims when these tyres are replaced and the replacements won't be Maxxis. Of course to afford the new rims I'll have to get the Cook out of retirement and back to work.....

My experience with CAV may not match yours, but that is no reason to attack me. I know quite a bit about CAV, and I know that they will do their best to help. I also never called you 'toothless', I merely pointed out that you need to follow up., and follow up with the person you first had contact with. CAV make this point themselves.

Your issue with your trailer is yours. If CAV, or VCAT, or any other body here in Vic had had similar complaints then you might have been taken more seriously. Now, that's not me being arrogant, that's me being realistic.

A "year or so" is a total cop out. When was it?? Don't you remember? Don't you have receipts? What on earth do you expect?

The laws in this country, and particularly for you, as you seem to be in Victoria, are geared to protect YOU. In Victoria you have a protection that is called an "Implied Warranty", that is a mandated warranty for an implied life of an item. CAV is NOT here to do your work for you though. You need to be involved. Moaning here isn't involvement.

I didn't build your trailer. Why attack me? Grow up.
Deary deary me! You just gotta love social media. Should one reply or just ignore - that is the question!

Did you not read what I wrote, or do you have a problem with comprehension?

I have a tribunal judgement against the defendant. You don’t get that without a fully detailed and documented case. However, to have any chance of collecting on the judgement order, I still have to spend more $$$ taking my case to court.

I stand by my original statement that CAV and VCAT are both toothless tigers!

My BFG KO2s seem pretty damn good on and off road. Had them in lots of mud, sand and also rocks. Survived all and are not noisy at all on the highway. Highly recommend.
