Not a pretty sight... Wonder if Dave ( Blknight ) will chime in.

You got a decent head shop near you? can they weld it? Could it be a sign of things to come? Still, the AMC jobbies are very good. Your car looks worth the $$$

    Reckon I'd contact Turners.

    Bugger.

Apparently the AMC head is beefed up a bit in the fuel rail area. I'm guessing you've posted this on the HMLR page?
    What are JC's thoughts?

I was looking on the AMC website and they wrote this which I thought was pretty interesting and certainly very relevant:

AMC TD5 Cylinder Head - late LDF500170 | Turner Engineering
The injector socket wall is twice the thickness of the original land rover cylinder head therefore this type of head does not suffer the usual problem of a cracked injector socket allowing diesel into the engine oil.

I didn't on HMLR, its probably not a HM component and I don't think JC has seen this yet.

    Cross-roads.
    Cheers

Just evaluating and hoping to get some confirmation here:

    AMC head (late) - its a 10P with a 15P head already
    Camshaft seal front
    Camshaft seal rear
Sealant for sealing oil gallery between TD5 camshaft carriage and cylinder head.
    2 steel head locating dowels
    Camshaft timing pin set
Td5 gasket set for the top and outside of the head
    Headbolt set
Headgasket will have to wait and see if its a 1,2 or 3 hole gasket in there.

$AUD2568.55 delivered from Turners in the UK excluding the head gasket.
    Cheers
