    That's how i mounted mine, just have the mic mounted on the side next to the cb, and when i using it i put it a bit closer...

    Right, took some more pics of my setup....

    Have CDMA phone, UHF CB, pda for GPS software and a GSM mobile phone too...



    CB and CDMA phone... Only two holes required, and that is for the CB mounting bracket, I have just mounted everything else off the CB bracket.

    Roof Console Mount

    Sorry, been away !

    NO find the cables aren't an issue as the mic clip is on the passenger side so it is only half the cable hanging. If it does annoy I poke it in to the "map" (or whatever they are supposed to be for!) slots. I don't use these for maps as I found most fall out off road at the most inoportune time!
