Thread: Door seal & seatbelt

G'day all,

Does anyone know the best place to get a rear seat belt buckle receiver? (Is that what they call them) One of the rear ones looks to have been jammed under the seat recently and now doesn't always click in correctly/securely.

Also I need a new replacement driverside front door seal, and I'd rather not go to the dealer if I can avoid them.
Oh and both items are for a 97 Disco TDI.

For the door seal Clark Rubber is the go, they can normally supply most types of seal. Take the old or part of the old one in to them. There are also numerous auto rubber suppliers on the Eastern Seaboard.
As for the seat belt reciever, try a local wrecker or on line wrecker. Most auto accessory shops should be able to supply one at a reasonable price. If not go to a car yard you do not like and test drive a similar model car. Oops did I say that, thought I was thinking out loud.
