    Starter motor for 73 Land Rover?

    Hi! I hope this is the right forum section.

    My dad has this Land Rover but someone took the starter motor out of it. I'm hoping somebody here can help identify the engine and starter motor required.


    I hope the photos can help, if you need any more information please let me know, I don't know much about vehicles so I'm hoping this is all that's needed but I can ask for more info if required.

    Interesting! It’s had a diesel conversion at some time. Sorry I can’t help with it’s identification.

    Yes, it appears to be a former 6 cylinder model. The diesel engine is NOT a Land Rover engine.
