What sort of rubber Inc?
We had a guy with us on the weekend with Maxxis Bravo MTs 245/75 on a std disco (did have the rear guards trimmed tho) and they performed very well and he is quite happy with them for $220 per corner
I would certainly consider them as a replacement for the BFG's when worn out, but that might be a few years down the track![]()
they are almost new H/Ts nankang or similar. they are 15" mags and the tyres are 30" dia, he has them under a std 95/96 disco and they dont rub he tells me.....
hmmm, the maxxis is under 20 bucks a wheel cheaper than a bfg m/t....

I know Inc has his tyres now, FWIW, the local piggers and roo shooters run whatever cheapest M/T they can get and these are usually Savero, Kumho or Maxxis.

Hi,
Does anyone run Michelin X 4x4 7.50R16? I need to replace mine but I have two extras on rims so I don't really want to change to something new.
I spoke to Michelin and they said the only ones they had were XZL or XPC but not X. The tread pattern looks like neither.
Any ideas on where I can find some or are they a superseeded tyre?
Thanks,
Instead of starting a new thread I will ask here. I am looking at getting a set of Wrangler 235/70/16 to replace the Michelin Synchrone 205/80/16 I currently have on the car. Are the Wranglers any good?
Also, 2 of the Michelin I have are still fairly good so are for sale.
