    40mm ome lift question/problem

hi guys been a while since i posted been to damn busy i have a quick question to throw your way. recently i added a 40mm ome lift to my 96 disco all seemed good however looking under my truck yesterday i noticed that the passengerside spring isent sitting correctly it's like it's sitting on top of the cup that holds it in place and backtowards the firewall wondering the best way to fix this ?? should i just clamp it again and try and reset it or could there be something more sinister causing it to align this way ??? anyhelp is greatly apreciated i can take pics and post if needed

I don't think there is any thing sinister going on there.

I'd just jack the passenger side up and give the bottom of the spring a whack with a bit of four-be-two and a lump hammer...that should reseat it.

(Do it safely though you don't want the car coming off the jack)

try and jack it up from the chasis if you can......
this will let the suspension droop and put less pressure on the spring so it will go in easier....
it appears you got longer shocks with your lift.....maybe a bit too long for the springs.....?
did you get longer springs....or just stiffer....

dont worry too much about it.....it cant pop out while the shock absorber runs through the centre of it....
