    300Tdi Coolant bleed hose/valve - which way?

    Hi all

    Which why should this hose be fitted? I just want to check I am installing it the right way.

    I have always had the shortest hose (thicker diameter) attached to the expansion tank.

    But I just watched a Trailfitter's tool box video and he has the longer straight hose attached to the expansion tank.

    Mine has shorter, thicker hose to reservoir.

    ..... shorter hose to expansion tank, 90° bended hose to thermostat housing, longer straight hose to rad.
