    I keep ordering Corteco seals but Angus Gaco seals arrive. Are they the same company?

    Hello wise forum.

    From two different sources I’ve ordered Corteco hub seals for my county, and both times Angus Gaco seals have arrived.
    Warranted, the first time I ordered them was on eBay so the fact anything arrived is impressive, but the second time I ordered from 4wd industries who were genuinely perplexed when I pointed it out to them.

    Are these the exact same company/seal? I looked online but can’t find an answer. The previous owner of my county said use ONLY the Corteco ones.

    Googled and found that the company is/was George Angus & Co (GACO). Founded in 1888 !
    GEORGE ANGUS & COMPANY LIMITED - Company Credit Reports, Company Accounts, Director Search Reports

    This company suggests they are no longer in existance

    I wonder if the seals are old stock or maybe someone else now has the GACO name.

    Ring Karcraft. They're very good with Rover parts (won't sell anything in a blue box). Delivery is usually quick.

    Corteco are part of the Freudenberg group , it usually says that on the genuine Corteco packaging.
