    A friend of mine in the Sydney LROC has put a 2.8 in his 130 replacing the 300TDI, and not withstanding some dramas cost blew out to close $20,000, been done now about a year, & absolutely worth every penny he reckons, can put you in touch with him if you want to chat to him about it. Some may know him, his name Ken owns a aluminium engineering business in Brookvale NSW.

    I think the 6.5 chev is the way to go a TD5 would be great to see but the electronics would be a nightmare to retrofit also to much weight difference in a P38 over the original Disco's body would drop performance, economy and towing ability.
