    Aftermarket (Allisport) exhaust manifold studs.

G'day all. I've finally got my hands on an Allisport td5 exhaust manifold. I ordered it with the extended stud and spacer kit.
One thing I've noticed is the original studs have a shoulder that butts against the head when torqued up. The Allisport supplied studs don't have this shoulder and if I try to torque them up to 25Nm they drive in too deep. The studs need to extend approx. 41mm from the head to finish flush with the stud nuts.
Should I just loctite the studs in at the desired length or not, and rely on the stud nuts to keep it all in place?

Wind the studs in by hand leaving sufficient length out for the manifold, spacer and nut to fit on.
Fit manifold onto studs (if wasn't already in place when studs were fitted).
    Fit spacers onto studs.
Fit nuts onto studs - ensure that studs thread through the nut sufficiently.
Torque nuts to 25Nm. The studs should wind in to wherever they need to but the nuts will remain with full thread through them.
