I use Mann oil filters on the 2.7

Gud own ryco coopers and wesfil among others and apparently each brand has it's own plant

Getting specs on the likes of fuel filters for each brand has been very difficult thus far for those other than ryco

And pricing can differ by $70 .....

Australian consumer law does not care if the car is modified. If the owner proves the filter caused or material contributed to the failure, the manufacturer has to prove the modification was such to take the vehicle outside the specification of the filter such that it was operating outside the design parameters of the filter.

I have our 2016 D4 serviced every 20K by the indy and at the 10K inbetween I change the oil and clean air filter etc myself. Filters I buy from the stealer who give me a good price. Went to a different indy once when the usual bloke was very busy and got charged double for everything including the oil which the mechanic gobbed off about it being "special"...... SupaCrap price was half theirs. So I won't be going back to them in future.
I'm quite happy to use Ryco etc or what the stealer sells me ...name forgotten but may be Mann.
