Hi Steve
Yep its a dual battery solenoid, the pos battery leads normally bolt to the large terminals, the trigger wire to "join" the 2 batteries conects to one of the smaller terminals.
Andrew
I found this in my battery box when I recharged the battery...
The heavy-duty wiring connects to the battery via a 'resistor? and then to a looong wire not connected anywhere. The lighter weight wires are earthed (the black, not surprisingly) and then another looong wire.
What is it?
My first guess is a controller (solenoid?) of some sort for a dual battery setup, given the weight of the wires.
