Cool, that should be a really good combination I reckon.

Lovells ran some tests for me on the King Springs, and assuming they were the same parts, they tested up at 190lb/in and about 240-270lb/in I think it was. The springs were good though. After a trip to Cape York though, I am totally sold on Bilsteins!
    Cheers

Sounds good to me. To be honest your experience was a deciding factor when going for the Bilsteins and combined with a few others opinions the Bilsteins by all accounts seem to be a damned good shock, no question. As this will be my 2nd ever suspension set up, it will be very interesting to see how differently the Bilsteins perform from the OME and also how they will work with the Kings.....will I have got the balance and ride right, we'll see..........I am certainly hoping for a marked improvement!!

Anyway, will post again to let everyone know how it all ends up but thanks again for all the input.

Well, just back from the suspension shop and now have Kings and Bilsteins fitted.........MASSIVE imrpovement over the OME ride quality. Actually a softer ride which is what I was after and all the harshness that used to be transfered through into the car has virtually gone.
Very pleased with the on road performance of the set up and will see how it goes off road this weekend.
Again thanks for all the advice, Mick

    Hi Mick
Ive just fitted my EFS kit.Got around 3" over what I had.Much firmer, happy with that.No more flopping front to rear.
In changing the suspension learnt a lot about the "droop" or lack of it on the rh front and lh rear.
Drives beautiful, very happy.Problem is the EFS packaging has a 80 ser tojo on it and Baz with his 80ser reckons I have fitted tojo susp
I hope he burries himself on sat
