Defender Track Rod, Uprated from Standard

    Hi guys,
Got my new Track Rod today. It is a Ex Aust Army one. I asked around and was told by Fred Smith that they are as good as the Maxi rod, but cheaper if you can find them.

$115 shipped to my door and $88 for 2 new tie rod ends.

I'll fit it in the next few weeks and see how i go.

Check that its straight, nothing "ex army" is new specially for these veh's, unless it fell of the back of a truck then check it for straightness anyway.

    Try this -

Saw that rod on ebay - At the same time I was buying somthing similar from

    www.snakeracing.com.au

Comparable price to Coopers at Tempe, but instead of clamps, has locknuts. Has 20 in stock, with new Left hand thread / Right hand thread ball joints. Also has different size drag link for different drop arm.
