Good to hear it, now the next thing is how big a leave pass can you get, a day trip or overnighter.

OK, well I finally got around to sorting out the back of my 110 about a month ago and have had a few trips away in it and an so far pleased with the result.

I wanted to do it on a budget, keep the weight to a minimum, and still be able to keep the heavy items like jerry cans etc, as low and far forward as possible.

So all in all it cost me about 30 bucks and I still have a huge off cut of marine ply, and it probably weighs in a less than 10 kgs and gives me heaps of flexibility on how to load it.

It is a sheet of marine ply slightly spaced up so as to fit in two plastic boxes underneath, I wanted the boxes to be removable, as one of them is my BBQ and cooking gear and the other one is tools etc. At the front I can still fit in 20 lts of water, one or two jerry cans and my gas bottle behind the back seats and my fridge.

My waffles sit on top on the LHS and my high lift is mounted on the RHS.

When fully loaded I push the plastic containers forward and then a tool box with my compressor in it fit in the back for easy access.

This is how my truck normally is loaded, with the majority of camping gear etc left in it all the time.

Just need to load the fridge with beer and food.

Its a 3 seater, dunno how they work this out, in the UK I have seen a mix of 40/60s and 3 seaters, out here in the Middle East they seem to be fitting 3 seaters and in OZ they have stuck with 40/60, thats consistency for you.

And yes it is a perfect place for the fridge, easy to access from the back and from the front whilst driving.

Thinking of doing a remake and making the drawer a bit wider.
