You can get them reconditioned through Auto One. I don't know the cost.
A fellow AULRO member mentioned that you could get a VH44 kit for about $100.
Further investigation had a PBR VH44 at just over $600 whereas other VH44's, all over Ebay and the Interweb, were around the $100 mark. I'm guessing these are copies but they still use the VH44 part number ??
Does anyone have any experience with a $100 VH44 kit ?
Just wondering whether re-conditioning an original will give better long term results.

I have a cheap Chinese dual diaphragm booster in the 101 - it's been in a few years and is still fine however I don't drive it much but just sitting around it seems to be fine. It works very well and for $89 I could but 1/2 dozen over the next 20 years and still be ahead of what a brand name one was.
