If you feel you might "stuff it up", have a break and come back, if you are still stuck, send me a P.M.

I'm not sure what rave says, but if I was doing the job, I'd be pulling the sump, checking the oil pump bolt and the allen key oil pressure regulator for tightness.
haha probably a loooong time ago when did the head? did have retarded timing after that and took it to PCB where they fixed that haha.
thankyou i dont think it will get started this weekend but hopefully next or in the week.

i ended up getting them from British Auto Parts. They were fast and being within australia, they had the parts i needed and even a little cheaper than i could get from my usual UK places (shipping cost wise) Someone on AULRO fb page recommended them
I wanted new parts as never want to have to do this again haha, think i got very lucky it it wasnt worse and didnt take motor out with it, plus being a disability car, cant risk second hand parts failing and leaving me without it.

I reckon she's still head down and bum up under the bonnet. I hope the prop hasn't failed.

Mission going slow, really hard actually Td5 timing chain advice
Radiator ended up coming out as the harmonic pulley damper barely brushed it on removal and flattened a lot of fins, also wanting more room in there.
Actually glad did this as found a clip of some kind (not from anywhere on the landie) inside the intercooler Td5 timing chain advice Actually feel this is a bit of malicious damage my car experienced that had not yet been discovered or thankfully not destroyed anything.
Today is try to get harmonic balancer bolt off Td5 timing chain advice may end up replacing the harmonic balancer as not sure its condition as think that one has not been replaced along with the other pulleys in the last couple years Td5 timing chain advice
Might take a few weekends to finish this job as will replace anything that need to whilst my car is this apart Td5 timing chain advice
Found a missing sump bolt, one of the 4 that come from Bell housing end is just gone Td5 timing chain advice
Gearbox gasket that got replaced recently is leaking too so ill have to take it back once this all fixed. Only driven it like twice since picked it up where that was replaced.
Lots of oil mess under drivers side of trans cooler which I'm not sure if is old or it's leaking recently. Had a lot of issues there (malicious damage related) so might be mess from that that wasn't accessible to clean.
Am videoing as much of this process as possible as wasn't much around to help so hoping to have video to help someone else even if only what not to do hahaha
