    Defender windscreens

Has anyone installed there own windscreen in their defender? I'm at that stage and it's getting a little embarresing, I've seen it done and it took the bloke less than five min to do, but me............yes lets just say I'm trolling for tips .
I think the string is too thin, anyone know how thick it's supposed to be?
And where to start when pulling?

    Cheers Larns

    Hi larns
as long as the string is strong enough it fine.
once the string is in place use plenty of soapy water all round the rubber,
put the screen in place ,start pulling from the bottom in the centre. work one side then the other so as the screen starts to fit it will be equal both sides.
    just keep pulling the string!!
might be tight at the corners.
If there is two people it will make it easier as one can hold the screen in place while the other pulls the string.
    good luck
