    They are axels where the end of the hub drops down to give more clearance under the Diff. This is a good mate of mine's truck. He has put Unimog axels under a disco s1 chassis with a rangie 3.9 engine and gearbox. Here is a pic of it
    Look at the end of the axels and you will see what i mean.





    Couldn't be called a Disco..maybe a massey ferguson or John deere would have been cheaper..be fun though looks like a dune buggy on steroids

    maxi drive portals will "BOLT" onto any rover type axle, not just defenders.

    eg def 90, disco 1 & 2, range rover classic and p38

    you can also have them in rear steer.

    they retain the stock rr disc brakes and because of there 4 gear design you don't have to change the rotation of the diff.

    these are a "TRUE" bolt on option

    very, very well designed..... many sets sold though out euorpe
