    Defender TD5 AC Blower Switch

    Hi

I have replaced the old blower pack with an OEX one, where the speed is controlled by switching 12V across 3 wires (with another going to ground). This avoids using the original resistor. However it needs a switch and/or relay array to retain variable flow.

I haven’t measured draw yet but expect to be under 10A. I’m hesitant to switch that much though the switch though, given arcing etc. But using relays for 4 positions seems overkill.

I could just replace the entire switch with something more robust?

    Any suggestions?
