Defender door seal no good for a walrus!
I have been told by a friend and fellow defender owner that there is a solution to the sill section of the defender door seals. Strangely his seals are the same as mine, trashed!
It was suggested that there is a replacement / upgrade that moves this seal from the sill to the bottom of the actual door?
So I searched the forum but no luck!
basically the sill section of the door seals gets trashed by everyone getting in or out. I found the metal stips this sill seal sits on so bent out of shape, it was making the doors hard to close.
So the question is does this mod exist? Is it a LR OEM thing? Aftermarket?
DIY?
Does it work?
Where do ya get it?
If anyone knows you guys will.

Strange that this would have been fixed on later models.... I thought the general idea with a fender was to retain as much dirt an mud in as many cracks as possible.

You can get from your freindly rover dealer,that I know for sure.They work I spose,I dont reckon they work as well as the old ones,but they are definately harder to destroy!!(and thats a good one too by the way)
