    Just a quick question

    Hi All,

    I want to change the bulb in the auto gear selector of my 98 Disco and want to know if it's necessary to disconnect the negative lead from the battery first?

    If I did would I lose things like the stereo code, etc?

    There's no need to disconnect the battery for that.

    You would lose the radio code unless it was just for a minute or so.
