    Radio/Cassette/CD Head unit

Anyone know where I can get the tool(s) that are used to remove the Radio/Cassette/CD Head unit from the dash.

Local LR dealer has a set - but for own use only - not for sale.

    Thanks

Dude ,I broke a hacksaw blade in half , then used the bench grider and file the teeth off into you can push it into the slots and at the end make a hook ,so you can pull the radio out ,them into the slots , I think it's up or down instill one side comes out ,then the other side the same way , but watch the first side as it will go back in.. hmmm why I did this Autoban wanted $40 bucks to do this , cheers4now alex

get a metal coat hanger and cut 2 lengths. Bend each one into a 2 pronged fork these prongs slip into the 2 small holes on each side of the unit until they click......pull whole unit out in one go, simple
'99 Manual TD5 D2.......heap of money spent on it and it has ended

Some one on the disco2.com site has used file hangers. (the metal bits off the cardboard folder). They apparently pushed in ok. When the radios out check the fit, and make proper tools.

What a star, by jove - it worked a treat, thanks awfully.

I need to remove the radio as I am going to fit a Dashboard top pod to hold the extra 'toys'

    Thanks again to all.
