    I looked at these kits.
    Not as good as they sound.

    They allow only 3 (or is it 4) points for the "curve" over the full rev range.

    I have no diect experience with the amp swap, but I think it would work as the amp outputs are the same Ie a pulse which triggers the coil.
    The thing to be careful of is that the coil has to match the amp. the amp on dizzy has a particular Bosch coil, an you have to be careful that the coil does not overload the amp.
    Most amps have only a couple of input/outputs so it should not be hard to work out.
    The amp on dizzy is also notorious for failing due to excess temperature at the dizzy, and Land Rover used to do a relocation kit of plugs and wires so that it could be relocated near the coil. Suggest you talk to RPI or similar.
