Do you still run the factory rear sway bar ?
If so, check the links - one might have become inverted. I've heard of 2 in the last week doing this.

You see it wasn't a sag but a lift.
I think I mentioned to you hearing that sound whilst entering my garage...it was the roof racks glancing the soffit at the entry.![]()

Ex 300Tdi Disco:
Found this thread searching......for an answer
"My problen exactly".....maybe
Even when I get out...the disco has a lean towards the front drivers side......... ?????
While I was underneath today I discovered what I think is the problem....
a little arm off the diff on the left is UP, while on the right side it's down. These little arms connects to what I think is the sway bar....
so
it's not B.F.C. in the drivers seat causing the front to sag but rather it appears the rear left is lifted.?.?.?.? I think
Now...
How to fix ........ how to stop it happening again
Pleeze
Stevo
Can I just undo the bolts, at the rear mount and drop it ??? or do they have heaps of tension and I'll end up stripping them?? how do I stop it happening again
Thanx all
I've got some pretty stiff Lovells in mine which are about 4 years also. These have also sagged, particularly to the DS. Anyway, I've just taken delivery of some replacement springs for it.
Cheers

It's safer if you can flip the linkage back the right way, that way there is no torsion in the swaybar at all when on the level. Try jacking up the chassis to get the suspension to droop then apply a little tension to the swaybar as you lower the vehicle down again. Having said that I removed mine with the linkage flipped but I tied the swaybar arms to the chassis with ropes so I could release them slowly. Then I unbolted the brackets holding the swaybar to the chassis - once they are off all the torsion is gone and you can remove the bar and linkages at your leisure.Originally Posted by sschmez

Thanx Dave
I'll try to lever it back to the right place with a jack under the chassis as you suggest. If it happens too regularly I guess I'll take it right off....
Is your sway bar permanently off ???....
do you notice a difference in the handling ???....
Do you have a lift too (I'm guessing a lift would make the difference more noticable)
Thanx Again
