Discovery Overhead Consoles

Does anybody know if D2 overhead consoles are the same as the D1?

Mine is pretty ratty after the previous owner did a shonky install of a CB or something up there, and the left sun visor is broken.

To my knowledge they are different, I will check though

I take it you are talking about the overhead storage 'pockets' behing the visor

............as opposed to a custom centre roof console

From the manual they look quite similar - but from memory of my D1 and looking at my D2 - they just seem different - see what others say, I can't say for sure

From the parts catalogues, the D1 used 5 different part nos. for "Pocket, Front" and the D2 uses 2 completely different nos.

Yes - I'm talking about the standard front ones. There's a set for sale on E-Bay that has me interested. But it sounds like it'd be a mistake.

Norm, where are you located?

I have access to some for a Disco 1 but I'm not sure which part no. they are. I can have a look tomorrow (I'm at work at the moment) to see if there is a part no. on the back.

I'm in Braidwood (between Canberra and Batemans Bay - I'll update my profile I think...).

I'm coming up to Sydney the weekend after next to see the family.

My interior is grey and if you have other bits such as shift boots and those black pads that sit on the centre console, I'm definitely interested!

I'm pretty sure the front pockets are white. I don't have the other stuff.
