I have a Disco V8 series I into which I intend to fit two sill tanks.
These stainless tanks are on order from a company in the UK called WVA Holdings/Safari Equip.
I've heard that these tanks are a pig to fit and another downer in the design is that they are filled via a filler inside the wheel arch.
I was looking at a stripped out Disco the other day which had all of the panels missing....what caught my eye was the possibilty of using additional filler necks from a Disco to fill my new sill tanks.
Has anyone ever thought of doing this? This means I'd have three fuel caps but the tanks would be much easier to access.
Cheers all.
Regards.

For others, there are a couple of sill tanks for sale on eBay.
Re filling through the wheel arch, I never found it much of a hassle. However, if you were into mud-plugging.......
