not their condition......the oil level.....
if there is no oil in them......they allow the needle to bounce up and down.....
this throws the mixture out the window......will cause rough idle...misfires...backfires......etc....
there should be enough oil to just cover the piston on the dampener.....
if that is ok......then i am stumped again.....
