    Wheel studs

    For the Guru's
I know this subject has been dabled with, but after a quick search no real result was established. Is there a longer that standard wheel stud? The new alloy ROH wheels arn't really hanging on by much and the nuts have more than enough thread to accomidate longer studs.
I'm after about another 15-25mm in stud (oh and there on a defender hub)
    Thanks in advance

    Cheers Larns

When fitting WOLF rims to my 130.... I fitted the longer studs to be on the safe side.

Bummer of the story is.....127's/130's are supposed to have longer studs as standard to accept the H/D rims.....so what happened to mine?
    I happen to know why.....but it's a long story....................

So yes......longer studs are available for your new rims. I got mine from Britpart.

    Regards.

Let me know how you go Larns. I have tried Nice Products who import wheel studs and they dont have them for the LandRover. I have also tried Land Rover and been told the studs are all same size.
I have also tried YiCan but they haven't answered emails or return calls.
If anyone has a part number would be appreciated.

There are longer studs for certain.....I know because I bought them and pressed them into the hubs of my 130 before fitting the WOLF rims.

The threads are the same but the length is approx 12mm longer. Part number is FRC7577 from the Britpart range of LandRover spares and accessories.

I note that you have a 130.....in that case you should already have the longer studs fitted as standard to take the WOLF/130 rims (which are the same pressing centre pattern and thickness)

The reason I changed mine is because the previous owner had swapped axles and rims from a 110 without changing back the hub assemblies.

    Hope that helps.......

    Regards.
