    Bad Oil Leak

I've got a real bad leak from the rear diff on my classic rangie(eg diff oil up back window) from the gasket that is between the diff centre and the housing, easy job, but It's got a maxidrive, any massively different procedures to pull the centre out??

    Thanks

No, just pull the short side axle out a few inches till it drops out of the centre NOT the locking dog, once your about to put the centre back in make sure the locking dog is still retained by the fork properly and away you go

Funny you ask this as i just did the exact same job today

    Oil leak

Check with Mal at Maxidrive, but I just did swivel housings on mine and locked the diff first, then pulled out the axles. If in doubt ring Mal.

Makes it a little hard to pull the diff centre out with the locking dog locked into the side of it
