    Trailer Plug For D2

Behind the drivers side brake lens is a plug.
    Not connected. (for the USA?)
This plug has ALL the wires needed to make a 7 Pin trailer plug.

    AND,,
    (two fuses later)
one big mother of an ALWAYS ON Power cable.

I used a plastic cable joining block which also kept the un-needed cables in place, then wrapped it all in 'lecky tape as this area is open to the elements.

    30 min job.

Im pretty sure that the "Big mutha always on" cable is for electric trailer brake feed/trailer Aux power... Trailer brake feed I get What the hell is on a normal trailer that needs aux power?

I know I wired up Big Reds to supply power to the batteries in the trailer to charge them whats anyone else use it for?

well it must be hooked up in mine - I borrowed a trailer recently and when I plugged it in the RH indicator came on with the ignition off... and the indicators didn't work.

figured the person had their own version of wiring set up. but there is the always on pin on my D2 end and it was installed by LR
