Help needed with Timing Cover Disco 1 & 2

I have a 4L V8 (supposed to be 2003 model) in my 93 Disco 1 with the 3.5L fuel injection manifold and plenum, it also has the 3.5 electronic Dizzy mounted top front of block.
Question is will a Timing Cover off a 4L or 4.6L fit my 4L block with the Dizzy up front on top, Reason is there is one for sale on eBay and the owner doesn't know if it will fit my engine, to me it should fit, BUT I would appreciate any Wisdom from those that would know, Thanks, Regards Frank.

The timing cover will bolt on but it will not do what you want. The water pump might also be different, I'm not sure.

There is no provision for the distributor on that timing cover. The engine would need all the electronics, e.g. camshaft position sensor, crank position sensor, and engine ECU to operate the distributor-less ignition system.

Oh, I forgot to mention you'd need to change the camshaft as well and the connections to the oil cooler.

Thanks Frank, we'll see how high it goes. I bought a new pump a week and a half ago.
