Great, always better to be safe than sorry.

Final note - never mix different makes/types of antifreeze.

Yep. After getting it started back on monday I removed one of the heater hoses and put the hose down and let it go for 20 mins. I have been rinning it on water for the week to just get all and any muck out. So today it was remove pipes and let it drain then fill with the correct coolant and I also let it drain the water till I could see the orange flow out. I will drive it tomorrow and top up. I did have it running for a while but levels didn't drop.
Just scared after such a big repair job.

    No
It's already eating away at the back of my brain. Thinking of doing another flush already.
    Maybe I'm becoming paranoid.
Will see how it looks tomorrow.

I don't know. Land Rover manuals specify Texaco who are Caltex in Aus.
Zook. No drain plug in the Rad so al should be ok. Took it for a run today and heater works a treat and temp sat nice and perfect.
