Thread: Def 96 Trans/diff oils and finer filter Q's

I was settled on using Penrite Syngear 70/90 , but Super cheap dont have it, im sending the missus down the melbs as i have to work, and need something for her to ask for , maybe from the Caltex, or Mobil ranges.

Anyone give me some advice please?

The vehicle will be used, not abused, but i use 4WD a fair bit, if that helps

Also the Finer filter outer skin is in need of replacement, the inner looks ok, is it worth replacing both, if so, what would you recommend?

I used to use a finerfilter in my old 4wd, and in the end i went back to a factory paper filter, and changed it every 10k ... I did not notice any difference, using either, and the FF was just a pain in the **** to oil / clean etc.
