    Disco 1 ride hieghts for 2" lift

    Wonder if some kind person has measured ride height on their 2" lifted Disco 1 lately.
    I'm supposed to have a 2" lift but it looks a little "saggy" in the front. When I put the hi lift jack under the front bullbar and gently lift it up 30mm it looks much better at the front ( and obviously more ground clearance )

    Settled heights are (vertical measure bottom to rim to top of wheel arch )
    Front = 69cm
    Rear = 72 cm ( with 1/4 full tank and no load in back )

    I'm running 245/75/16 tyres, not that that should make any difference using the above measures.

    Are these the sort of heights others are getting with a 2" lift ?

    About 520mm from wheel centre to top of wheel arch should be right.

    That is the measurement for the max air suspension height on a RRC, and is supposedly 50mm over standard hide height.

    I'll check that though, and get back to you. Apparently, 470mm from wheel centre to arch is standard height.

    Disco 1 Ride Height

    Hi Wayne,
    My 98 TDi with ARB lift has the following measurements:
    Front measuring from bottom of rim to bottom of wheel arch is 715mm;
    Rear measures 740mm.
    Has bull bar, winch, steering protector on front.
    Rear has 120 litre tank, Draw system, Kaymar bar and swing out tyre carrier. Tyres 245/75 Cooper STs

    The system has been in place for around two and a half years with no troubes. Polyairs for towing van at around 2.1t to keep the old girl on the level.

    Hope this hep.

    Will and others thanks. Looks like I definitely have a sagging problem
    I might be looking for some new springs and shocks I think
