A Huge Rap For Iron Man!!!!

About 12 months ago I bought one of those Chines winches from Repco... yeah, I know what you're all expecting, but you are all WRONG!. It's performed perfectly time after time. Omly problem was that I was using it a few weeks ago and ran over the remote cable thus tearing the wires from the plug (winch end). A call to Repco for a replacement..... $55 but a 5 - 6 week wait.
I needed it for the Cup w/e.
Called Iron Man (I knew they were the importer for repco..... they aren't anymore btw) and WOW!
Bring it over mate and we'll have a look!
I get there and they gave me 2 cables complete with brand new plugs.... just unscrew your switch and reconnect by the colours they said.
I did, and it all worked.............
How much for this great service?????
    $000000
    NOTHING!!!!!!
Next time I read a critical comment on here about this company, I'll be waiting!!!!
As for their suspension? They have been in the heavy truck suspension business since 1958....... now decided to branch out into 4wd. If you want some service, give them a try!!!

Always good to hear about a business going the extra mile!
Land Rover impressed me the other day. Rang the Dealer over my oil cooler and they couldn't find it on the system so I rang Land Rover customer support and they had the parts devision contact the dealer with the info in 10 minutes! I was very impressed!

    Can beat that 1 Wardy!
Ironman replaced the whole motor that burnt out 4 free!!!!!!!!!
I had bought it 18 months prior from Repco (who put me onto ironman when i rang about repairs) but didnt mention it was out of warranty. When i went 2 ironman they didnt question me at all, Zac (the repair dude & top guy 2) just wacked the new motor straight on. In all honesty im not sure if he realised if it was 1 of repco`s or not.
While Repco is selling them with a 1 year warranty, Ironman will give u 3 years! I think their service was outstanding.I think the price of their 9500pd winch is now $799 & considering their service would take a hell of a lot of beating.
Iwas really choofed with their attitude & had meant 2 post up b4.Thanks 4 the reminder Wardy.
    Cheers Dean.

I solved this problem by installing switches in my centre console for the winch.

    Wardy...

Great to here such positive feedback... too many companies don't understand the word service at all.... a company that does this deserves plenty of public recognition.

    Well done,

I spoke to the guys on the "Ironman" stand at the recent 4x4 show in Melbourne and they confirmed that they'd supplied the winches to ALDI that were on special in Vic a while ago.

It's even been used in anger a few times....

......... loved the look on the sceptics faces as I dragged that Poootrol out..

I'm still happy with my purchase

(I didn't even mention it that time Scouse)
