    funbag replacement

    Where is the cheapest place to get an SLS airbag for a D2?

    Don't worry not me, I don't have them

    or has anyone got a spare one they could sell to my mate who has popped his?

    Out of interest what did he do or hit to make the airbag inflate.

    It's the suspension air bag - not the SRS I take it.

    Sorry not airbag as in SRS airbag

    This is the SLS self leveling suspension airbag he has popped the rear passenger side and naturally cannot drive the car due to the slight slope of the passenger rear side

    there the ones and from what I can tell these things will take up to 130k - 150k of normal day to day driving before they are about to pop so that one would need replacing fairly soon

    er, I think dobbo 's saying he thinks the rear air bags are good for around 140,000 kays,,

    How did he pop and airbag? i am always worried about mine, you can get a set of replacements from the airbag man in brisbane new for about 400 i think.

    I talked to him again last night, it isn't blown out as such but has a lot of little pin holes around the entire bag enough for it not to inflate at all (must be a bloody lot of pinholes), it appears the bag has been eroded away over time by the dust and grime of Sydney traffic and a few dirt roads.
