Totally wrong.........
You will, it seems have to remove the controller, then prise the front off - to replace the bulbs
Thanks mate any further details would be a great help. It would drive me nuts to leave them blown.

You have to remove the radio head first - with 'special tool' - or if you have a filing cabinet with some suspension files in it, grab one - as the ends, with the grove in are perfect (once only as they bend) to remove the radio head
To get the controller out from memory is a complete bastard, you have to have four hands that rotate 360 Degs to depress the clips that hold the unit in - but with a bit of patience you will get it.
Thanks mate much apprecisted. Sounds like another one of those jobs.......
I recently fitted a dash pod, a little box neatly fashioned to fit the contours of the top of the D2 dash, and it alows you to add UHF radio's - cd players - or in my case a DVD player to keep the kids quite.Originally Posted by ******
So with that I had to remove the radio head, and as I couldn't jiggle the wires through I also ended up removing the AC controller - is was a total git.......
but when I managed to release the clips it popped out like a new born, putting it back in was easy - line it up and push.
Once you have the controller out I am sure everything will be clear
this happened to me recently, I got 2 bulbs replaced cost less than $20 all up. Did it as part of my service.Originally Posted by ******
