    LR RR Def Disco What other parts fit them?

    Hi
    I was just reading this post:

    and seeing Rangieman's post about the transit van alternator and his Disco I was wondering if there are many common parts that people have found that are from other vehicles.

    If anyone knows of any I'm sure it would benefit us all.

    Maybe we can start with Rangiemans:

    1. Disco 1 alternator, same as, transit van

    i have seen prestolite starter motors mentioned on other forums fit V8's. cost of $220.00 was given , which is just over half of what ive been quoted for other starter motors.

    also found this site , its in the UK , not sure how prices stack up after freight added.
