Spot on mate. fer a youngun, you got a good brain in that head of yours. He used a Shure Brothers microphone mounted in an old revolver frame, sadly he died some 20 years ago, damn clever and very funny man.

......I'm having erratic/sporadic functioning and have taken console panel off and sprayed/cleaned the back and gubbins of the buttons with electronics cleaner and then followed with Silicon spray.......I've STILL got the same annoying problem, usually solved by jiggling the button side to side and up and down whilst pressing it - but no real discernable pattern as to WHEN it HAPPENS or WHAT gets it GOING......VERY ANNOYING!

Everybody thinks theres a tape recorder in it, they aint got it in there yet, But the japs are working on it...

apart from the car stories he tells, my fav is his introdocutory joke about the 3 guys in the bar.

I fail to see why a simple function of opening and closing 4 windows would require an ECU surely this function could have been achieved using electric motors, three way switches and relays. Why have an ECU to complicate things?

Exit power delay mainly.

Its a great feature which allows power to remain to the windows after shut off or a door is opened and closed.

Toymotors dont have this and its a PITA in my mates truck, he has to re-key the ignition just to close or open a window.
