Try this one, get onto www.oldholden.com or just google old holden.
On the site you can ask you just troll around and find the info you need. i found a stack of info on some niggly problems I had with the batmobile.
It is about the best i found for holden related info, even motor details.

just had a quick troll round for you,
go into holdenpedia, the link is on the right hand top corner,
then you can look up engines and prefixes, nothing on the list remotely resembles the numbers you have given.
However, if it is a red motor they size is usually cast into the block isn't it, can't quite remember. if it is a 186 it should be there in large numbers.
But if there is only a set of numbers with no prefix,ie 186,179, have a good look at the stamping area and see if there has been a grind job done on it.( you may even see the previous numbers underneath, as the crime scene guys used acid to bring up the original stamping) From memory the rta in nsw would allow a restamping of an engine block after they were stolen. So the number could be an rta number and have no bearing on the manufacturers number.
( Of course i am only relating to nsw, I don't know what happened in other states)

Or seeing you are in the land of mexicans, i guess the motor is in a registered vehicle, go and see the motor transport people/registry and see if you can get a rego history on the vehicle, assuming the engine no is listed on the rego papers.
If it is, you should be able to track back to when it was installed or in fact yours may have been a stolen/recovered engine/vehicle.

ALL holden 6 motors (not the VL nissan)
have the engine size cast into the intake/exhaust side of the block. with exception of the HP block, this is a 179 block with a STEEL crank. and yes i think it was first out in the HD X2, steel crank, sporty cam and twin strommies.
as for your other number im fairly confident in saying its a repco gem engine. as for what it is the cast should tell you the OE block size. if its been bored out then??
wont be bigger than 208ci any way, unless it has a stroker crank then it would be 234ci.
as for Hi and Lo comp motors, the high would be better, read more power/torque. but the lo comp motor would run on crappy fuel, really there isnt much in it anyway. its all in the shape of the head's expanshion chamber. ones circular,,LO comp and the other is kidney shaped,, HI comp.
i have a 200hp methanol sucking 208ci red/blue motor, custom manifold and 500holley. that would be fun
