Will check for a 2nd hand air con compressor this Saturday. Any chance to get a few pics of the air compressor setup using an air con? The best for me would be pics of a defender td5 setup, however I believe it would be pretty much the same with any engine.

    Cheers,
    Daniel

dive shops charge something like $5-9 per fill for a full size tank (depends where you are)

lucky I've got my own tanks too
trouble is you've got to get the tanks checked every year or two before the dive shop will fill them !

Want to buy a new one. As there are heaps on the market (ARB, Bushranger, nonames...). I am basically only interested in the compressor, do not care about all the goodies which come with it (hose, box, bag....).

I am looking for small reviews and recommendations.

Daniel, I got mine from Supercheap a year or so ago, probably the same as Dave's, pretty sure they are about $129 last time I looked, it's exactly the same as the Bushranger, same size, look and specs, only difference is the air filter is on the crankcase and not the head like the Bushranger, works really well, pumps up my 33's no problems and doesnt get too hot, would recommend, Regards Frank. BTW it's the larger of the 2 Supercheap sells.
