Do you think this will seal it up long term or just temporarily, I have to get past the nazi inspectors for the roadworthy every 6months over here, I have had the box out, sent the pitted output shaft away for re-metalling and had new seals put on. But it leaks badly enough out of both input and output shaft seals, to make getting the roadworthy a problem.
I have put a bit of moreys oil stabiliser in and that has slowed it a bit, but not enough. Also hoping for a bit of warm weather, maybe things will get a bit more supple, been mostly -5 frosts since the box went back in!
Thanks Windie, it is a 3 bolt in 110. I will keep that in mind, as we were faced with buying a new 4 bolt box, as shafts apparently are no longer available for the 3 bolt. But we had the shaft re metaled and machined..at quite some cost, and she drives beautifully....just got that damned leak, and I don't fancy pulling the frikkin thing out again anytime soon.
