    Do some Googling in the Uk they seem quite good at it.
    To give you a little hope the UK Army were running 101s pretty well under water quite successfully. Yes they had waterproof distributors you can occasionally find them on ebay in the Uk.

    D2's float when the water reaches the bottom of the windsceen. I know from experience.

    I never had any problems with my RRC ECU under drivers seat with 4" of water over it. A mates kids thongs were floating around. Just dive out the other side of the water crossing and open the door to let the water out!

    Did the D2 survive? was it a V8 or a TD5
