Thread: Anyone had an accident in a Defender Xtreme??

    nothing against narrellan 4x4,
    you should have taken it to caldwells at milperra.
    they are an LR repairer. from what ive been told they are really good!

    Why don't you take the opportunity to get the other "Xtreme" sticker taken OFF? If you ask me I always thought the "Xtreme" decals just looked a bit too try-hard and incongruous on such a utilitarian 4WD. Kind of like putting pin-stripes on a tank. I guess Land Rover thought the same when they took them off Defenders sold after about 2003.

    Get them professionally removed.

    i had 30k hail damage repaired at corbans
    the stickers were in the back when i picked the car up
    they didnt want to make the new sprayjob look tacky he told me
    in a bag with a lr sticker on it so it must be available

    I'm not calling you a liar...but $30k repair bill on a Landie?

    Insurance companies tend to write off if the repairs are more than 40% of the value of the car.

    Good that you got your ride back in good nic though.

    Yes, Caldwell is great and very helpful! Knows LR inside out and do great paintwork - they have repainted my Defender after the conversion.
