I have done some research into the "O" ring material based on an application that involves Diesel fuel at a temperature of up to 130 deg C. Nitrile 70 is compatable up to 120 deg C and Flurosilicone is rated at up to 230 deg C. I have taken the chance with the Nitrile 70 (mainly because it is easy to source) and although it is only early days its looking OK. I'm sure that you could get Flurosilicone but not sure how long it would take or how much it would cost ?
The "O" ring sizes are 25 mm O/D x 2.5 mm section and 10 mm O/D x 2.5 mm section.
make up the dowels to take the place of the dowels before you start.
clean up the thing before you start as it makes it easier to grab, not so important in a deefer but could make the difference i na disco.
dont expect it to be as easy as you think.
varies some go for a year others fail within days...
