Get some truckwash stuff,make up a strong brew use a rag or sponge problem fixed.

Now this is one I knew.
That "sticky melty" steering wheel problem.
Can I paint this? I have heard and read it's been done..The other day my hands were black and the stuff was nearly dripping off.
The ideal is recoating I know-but...

Once its really clean a coat of killrust will keep it at bay.The job is even easier if you remove the wheel.
Remove it,heavyduty solution of truckwash rinse heaps then clean with water,couple of coates of paint,just like new.
